Nicole Lewis is a results driven, award-winning business development executive with a distinguished 20+ year career defining strategies to drive growth for Kelly Services.  Most recently, Lewis served as Chief Marketing and Development Officer for Vista Maria – Michigan’s oldest private non-profit agency. 

A change agent and able strategist, Lewis has been successful in building, turning around, and mobilizing organizations, exceeding revenue, pipeline, and customer satisfaction goals.  The leadership roles for the global product development, industry management and supplier diversity development organizations, were created specifically for Lewis to expand Kelly Service’s new business opportunities; particularly in the legal, financial, science and outsourcing & consulting practices in highly competitive markets. A passionate client advocate and solution architect, Lewis worked to create high impact, “out of the box” initiatives to consistently deliver double digit return on investment.

As Chief Marketing and Development Officer for Vista Maria, Lewis re-engineered the marketing, fundraising and volunteer services operations by creating a comprehensive strategic plan – including a multiyear capital campaign to support the aggressive growth strategy of the agency. Lewis achieved consecutive year over year growth; exceeding fundraising targets with process efficiencies, well- defined, inclusive engagement initiatives and a multi-tiered cultivation plan.

Earlier in her sales and marketing career, Lewis led local sales operations for both Adia(Adecco) and UPS in the metropolitan Los Angeles area before returning to her marketing roots and collaborating with the UPS national account sales organization to develop business expansion initiatives. 

Lewis received her master’s degree in Marketing from Wayne State University where she is also an adjunct instructor and serves on the Board of Visitors for the Irvin D. Reid Honors College. An engaged alumna, Lewis was awarded the Honors College Pillar Award (2011).  Recognized for marketing leadership, Lewis was also the recipient of Black Enterprise Magazine’s Top Executives in Marketing and Advertising Award (2013, 2011). 

Lewis is a member of The Executive Leadership Council where she formerly served on the Board of Directors; as well as the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Lewis is a board advisor for Excellence Matters Most and M2Community Development Corporation.
